Dr. Brett Comstock is an Idaho native. He grew up in Nampa, Idaho and he graduated from Nampa High School in 1978. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Idaho in 1982 and then attended Creighton University Dental School for his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. Dr. Comstock completed his residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery from Georgetown University Medical Center in Washington D.C.. Dr. Comstock is board certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He is also a fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and a member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. Dr. Comstock is a member of the International College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons as well as the American Dental Association, Idaho State Dental Association, Southwestern Idaho Dental Society, and The American Society of Dental Anesthesiology. He also maintains proficiency in advanced cardiac life support and basic life support. Dr. Comstock has served as the president of the Idaho State Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.
Dr. Comstock enjoys the many outdoor activities that Idaho has to offer. He and his family have a passion for competitive waterskiing. He also enjoys golf, road and mountain biking, snow skiing, bird hunting, and spending time with his family. Dr. Comstock lives in Boise with his wife, Candace, their three children, and a big blonde Labrador named Tess.
