Dr. Brett Comstock and his staff would like to welcome you to our office. We practice a full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery. Our special interests include dentoalveolar surgery (wisdom teeth removal and tooth extraction), dental implant surgery, oral pathology, and orthognathic (jaw) surgery. We also specialize in bone grafting procedures and advanced dental implant surgeries including all-on-four concept, zygomatic implants, and guided surgery. He is actively involved in continuing education and has led multiple mentorship programs, including Spear Study Club, for local dentists in the Boise area. Dr. Comstock also maintains full privileges at Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center.
Dr. Comstock is an Idaho native who grew up in Nampa, Idaho and graduated from Nampa High School in 1978. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Idaho in 1982 and then attended Creighton University Dental School for his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. He went on to complete his residency in oral and maxillofacial surgery from Georgetown University Medical Center in Washington, D.C. in 1989. He started his oral and maxillofacial surgery practice in Boise, Idaho in 1990. He is board certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, as well as being a member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. He also maintains membership in the American Dental Association, Idaho State Dental Association, Southwestern Idaho Dental Society, and the American Society of Dental Anesthesiology. He is proficient in advanced cardiac life support and basic life support. In the past, he has served as the president of the Idaho State Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.
Dr. Comstock has a passion for many sports, which include snow and waterskiing, road and mountain biking, as well as golf. He also enjoys photography and spending time with his family. He lives in Boise with his wife, Candi, and has three grown children.
